Nissan Pulsar GTI-R Group A Rally Car built to NISMO specification.
I didn't build this car but have piles of history with it. I took this car in PX a couple years ago with the hope that I could get into stage rallying but instead only had the time to do some sprinting on track with it which was successful.
However, since this year I have been lucky enough to sprint a GR Yaris so the pulsar is no longer used and as these cars should be used I'd like to see it go to a new home.
It was built to the NISMO build manual, which a copy included in the paper work, so the shell has been strengthened in all the correct places. It has been a competition car for its life in the UK so benefits from being kept off salty roads which rarely means it is totally solid for a pulsar!
It is a full group A spec with MSA logbook so could be stage rallied again.
The usual spec with full cage, plumbed in fire system, tagged turbo restrictor, sump guard, stainless exhaust system, front mount intercooler, ported turbo elbow, oil cooler, poly windows, GRP boot and bonnet, ARP front and willwood rear brakes, inverted monotube coilovers.... the list is endless.
It's a rally car that's been used so don't expect a show queen, there are dents and scratches etc but it's straight and solid. Usual knocks to the floor and fuel line channels like all pulsars but the fuel lines now obviously run inside so are redundant now.
If I wasn't going to rally it, I'd respray or wrap it in NME NISMO and it would look as good as it goes but it would be a 15-20k car then.
Most importantly it has a quaife gearbox which removes the weak point on these. Rare and expensive if you can find one.
There are receipts for an engine rebuild many years ago with some porting/ balancing etc and it's done little miles since with regular servicing. Turbo is a trick ball bearing garret, spools very quick and sounds epic.
Recently, I've put a new steering rack (big job on these), polybushed and powder coated front arms with new ball joints, installed expensive inverted monotube rally coilovers so it's ready to go rallying.
Done one event since last mot which runs out end of September.
It comes on the rally wheels with scrubbed in tyres but a huge spares package and additional wheels will be offered to the buyer as first refusal.
I've corner weighted and setup the geometry for track or rally use so handles brilliantly and will supply my settings if the new owner wants them.
It is located near Bicester but I could deliver at cost by prior arrangement. Viewing welcome but no idiots or time wasters.
