Rota Spec 8 15 inch alloys (now refurbished in bronze) with brand new yokohama ad08r tyres (fast road tyre)
New Pioneer Radio with Bluetooth phone and music with built in phone holder
A sensible good fast road set up.
The cars only negative is the central locking doesn’t work although it does have a toad alarm and immobiliser that does work. It’s never been an issue for me, you just have to lean over and unlock the passenger door. I do have a replacement door switch panel that should fix the issue I just never got round to fitting it. The speedo also cuts out sometimes for a few seconds and them comes back it doesn’t happen very often. I took it to a specialist, he said its most likely a loose wire or bad earth on the clocks but as it rarely happens it wasn’t worth risking damaging the mint interior getting the clocks out to look.
Mechanical and cosmetically the car is brilliant, it’s very hard to find a Pulsar GTIR in this condition with so much history.
This car is only going to continue to rise in value. A true JDM classic and a collector’s item that I will be sad to see go.
Test drives to be done by myself following all rules and face masks to be worn in the car.
