Overall a great example of a late phase 2 GTI-R. The engine is still running strong and the car has given me no real problems apart from some old rubber hoses that required replacing. Overall I'm very pleased as the second US owner. The first owner who purchased the vehicle from RHD Specialities modified the car and I have been building on his work.
The car is overall cosmetically in nice condition. There is a recent crack in the dashboard above the cluster. It's also obvious that it received a hasty respray of the roof in Japan on parts of it prior to being auctioned off and imported to the US. This is consistent with the auction sheet listing this unit as a "Grade R". There is no evidence of any significant accident damage beyond minor cosmetic imperfections. This car is set to receive a proper respray and have any remaining imperfections addressed during the winter of 2023.

Repaired leak in previously Japan-repaired AC drier. Attempted replacement using B14 parts but this unit appears to have been modified. System was repaired and recharged with R134 in 09/2022 and has been working flawlessly as of 5/30/2023
